It started back in 1997 in his hometown of Derby. While other kids his age were recording the top 40 he was listening to Strictly Masters At Work and the Pacha albums. Its all about the love for house music for Joe, always has been and always will be.
As a young aspiring Dj, producer and promoter he got his early musical direction from the likes of Masters at Work, Chocolate Puma, Bingo Players, Dennis Ferrer, Roger Sanchez, ATFC and Armin Van Helden and developed a real love for the label Defected which was brought on by the Masters at Works ‘To be in love‘ . Other influences include Ron Carroll, Kerri Chandler, Dj Spen, Erick Morrilo, The Swedish House Mafia, Mark Knight, Deadmau5 and many others.
Joe brings a staple of quality to any venue and his music selection brings a unique, sophisticated sound . Playing across the board in House music and not just limiting himself to one style be it soulful, uplifting funk, electro and tech house.
Joe always plays to the crowd he is performing for and changes his genre of music depending on the venue. He spins sexy, cool, sophisticated Vocal house with a blend of Tech House, and where needed commercial House and Electro following the advise,
‘A DJ is only as good as his music selection but a greater DJ knows when to play the
right song’.
When performing he creates an electrifying atmosphere and never disappoints. Within a short period of time he has made some amazing achievements as a Dj. Gracing the decks across the Uk and Ibiza along side the likes of Calvin Harris, Mark Knight, D. Ramirez, Dave Spoon, Chris Lake, Judge Jules, Hoxton Whores the Scratch Perverts as well as playing the worlds most prestigious House music events which have included the beautiful Ibiza sunset at Kanya, Miss Moneypennys, Hed Kandi, Chuff Chuff, Gatecrasher, Pacha and Secret Party Project.
He had his very first production FAITH signed to the Miss Moneypennys music label and is currently working on many projects for them, having just completed remixes for Timmy Vegas (Soul Central), Rhythm Royal and The Lovemakers. His single FAITH has also now been released on the Miss Moneypenny Miami Music Sampler and also can be found on the “Girls of Miss Moneypenny’s” 3 Disc Album (2009) a sophisticated addition to any CD collection, available at HMV and all good music stores.
Joe’s production style has an electro edge yet he keeps it uplifting and funky with the introductions of live instruments which have included the piano, saxophone, guitar and even the flute. Samples of these can be found on many of his releases.

He also runs the Kabooku Shake nights across the midlands, which left the Uk shores last year and headed to Ibiza holding regular boats parties around the white isle as well as Gatecrasher – Nottingham resident Dj.
Joe now plans for a long career of music and has set himself the benchmark to hopefully top the charts one day. He is also returning to the White Isle throwing his now legendary boat partys, making new achievements in music production and bringing himself new and exciting challenges production wise and technically as a Dj.
